I'm the Principal Designer at East Coast Foundry, working across typefaces, identities and design systems for commercial and developmental projects. I also teach in adjunct roles at design institutions and national universities.
I designed my first typeface, Ashoka Odia, with Indian Type Foundry as my graduation project at NID Ahmedabad. Over the past decade, I have worked across product and communication design for startups and large organisations. As Lead UX Designer at Licious, I built the design system and processes behind its consumer-facing interfaces.
Letterforms remained central to my practice through collaborations with type foundries. Some of this work has been recognised by Red Dot and Type Directors Club. In , I returned to formal type design study at the Plantin-Moretus Museum in Antwerp, reviving work by Robert Granjon and Hendrik van den Keere. I am now working on some exciting new typefaces in Bhubaneswar, Odisha.
